About the Event
The Latin American Congress of Marine Sciences (COLACMAR) is a landmark biennial gathering and the most significant marine science event in the Americas: it brings together professionals, researchers, students and institutions from across Latin America and the Caribbean devoted to the study and conservation of the sea. For this edition, we have the honor of hosting it at the modern and elegant Hotel Megápolis Convention Center in Panama City, a strategic point of connection between the oceans and the cultures of our continent.
With approximately 50 sessions — including thematic symposia, keynote lectures, specialized workshops and spaces for academic exchange — COLACMAR 2026 will be a key platform to debate today's challenges, share scientific advances and drive the sustainable development of our seas.
